MARCUS FLADELL CATWALK FOR A CAUSE 2023

Lanie and Chris Marcus and Deena and Johnny Fladell welcomed family and friends to Glen Oaks Golf Club for Catwalk for A Cause on Wednesday, July 26th in support of Tina’s Wish. 150 attendees came together for a night of fashion, hope-filled storytelling, shopping at a marketplace curated by Lanie and Deena, and bidding on amazing raffle & silent auction items. Catwalk for A Cause host Rachel Nicks and guests cheered in support as cancer patients, survivors, family members and doctors walked the runway wearing Spring and Summer fashions by incredible designers! In the afternoon, Johnny & Deena hosted a golf outing. Both events honored the memory of Lanie and Johnny’s late mother, Nadine Fladell, who passed away in 2013 from ovarian cancer.

In total the Marcus Fladell Catwalk for A Cause and Golf Outing raised over $232,000 for scientific research into the early detection and prevention of ovarian cancer. Many thanks to all of the sponsors and everyone who contributed in support of the Marcus’ & Fladells’ efforts!

This annual event honors the memory of Lanie and Johnny’s late mother, Nadine, who passed away in 2013 from Stage III ovarian cancer at 63 years young. Nadine was a mother, grandmother, friend and confidante. She fought this terrible disease for eight years.
