Marcus Fladell Summer Luncheon

Deena & Johnny Fladell and Lanie & Chris Marcus hosted a Wellness Luncheon in support of Tina’s Wish and its mission to advance early detection research for ovarian cancer.

It was an inspiring day centered on health, resilience, and community. The event featured curated shopping, a silent auction, and engaging speakers. Physician Dr. Liz Milbank Sobel, nutritionist Amy Shapiro, and certified health coach Samantha Sealove led a thoughtful wellness discussion focused on living well and staying proactive about their health.

Johnny also hosted 37 golfers for an afternoon of lunch, golf, and an awards cocktail reception.

In total, the Marcus Fladell Summer Luncheon and Golf Outing raised over $160,000 for scientific research into the early detection and prevention of ovarian cancer. Many thanks to our sponsors and everyone who contributed in support of the Marcus and Fladell families’ efforts!

This annual event honors the memory of Lanie and Johnny’s late mother, Nadine, who passed away in 2013 from Stage III ovarian cancer at 63 years young. Nadine was a mother, grandmother, friend and confidante. She fought this terrible disease for eight years.
