Gordon Brothers x Tina’s Wish Lunch & Learn
On March 4th, Tina’s Wish partnered with Gordon Brothers to host a Lunch & Learn, bringing together perspectives from science, personal experience, and advocacy to highlight the importance of advancing ovarian cancer research.
The conversation featured medical oncologist Tara Berman, MD, MS, of the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, who shared insights on the science behind early detection. Leslie Zmugg, a Tina’s Wish Boston Committee member at Gordon Brothers, spoke about her experience after learning she carries the BRCA2 genetic variant. Beverly Wolfer, executive director of Tina’s Wish, also discussed the organization’s mission and impact, as well as its commitment to funding innovative research.
Moderated by Caroline Maxwell of Gordon Brothers, who also serves on the Tina’s Wish NextGen Boston Committee, the session concluded with a Q&A, giving attendees the opportunity to further engage with the speakers and the critical work being done to improve early detection of ovarian cancer.
