Project Title: “Monitoring Intrauterine Biomarkers to Detect Pre-Invasive Disease”

Dr. Heller is head of the Cancer Nanomedicine Laboratory at Memorial Sloan Kettering. Dr. Long Roche is a gynecologic oncologist at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Long Roche and Dr. Heller are Co-Principal Investigators on this project.

Project Title: “PapDREAMS – a combined genetic and epigenetic multi-analyte assay for early detection of ovarian cancer in tissue proximal fluids”

Dr. Shih is a Richard W. TeLinde Distinguished Professor in the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and a board-certified attending pathologist in the Division of Gynecologic Pathology at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. Dr. Pisanic is a Senior Research Scientist at The Johns Hopkins Institute for NanoBioTechnology. Dr. Wang is a professor in the Departments of Mechanical Engineering and Biomedical Engineering at the Johns Hopkins University and a Core Researcher at the Johns Hopkins Institute for NanoBioTechnology.

Project Title: “Circulating microRNA signatures among BRCA1/2 mutation carriers”

Dr. Chowdhury is a Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and Chief of the Division of Radiation and Genome Stability in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Dr. Elias is an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Biology at Harvard Medical School and a Gynecologic Oncologist and Director of the Gynecologic Oncology Laboratory at Brigham And Women’s Hospital.

Anna joined Tina’s Wish from the Cape Ann Museum’s development team (Gloucester, Massachusetts). She graduated from Vassar College with a B.A. in Science, Technology, and Society. While at Vassar she was a research associate in the Grants Office. Anna is passionate about not-for-profit work and is excited to be focusing her efforts on women’s health.

Caroline joined Tina’s Wish in 2015 with event planning experience from the wedding and real estate industries. She started her career in consumer public relations at Golin after receiving her BS in public relations from West Virginia University. Her role at Tina’s Wish allows her to combine her two biggest passions – storytelling and bringing people together to inspire them to think, feel and take action. Caroline has a decade of experience planning and executing successful fundraising events ranging from intimate receptions to a 900-person gala. She feels privileged to have the opportunity to empower women about their health and to work with brilliant researchers who are making life-changing discoveries in order to give women a fighting chance against ovarian cancer.
