2019 LEADERSHIP COUNCIL SPRING RECEPTION RECAP
The Tina’s Wish Leadership Council Spring Reception on May 13 at The Prince George Ballroom was attended by 200 supporters who helped us raise $110,000 to benefit early detection ovarian cancer research. Guests enjoyed cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and a silent auction followed by a powerful program.
The program for the evening featured an expert panel discussion, Understanding Your Genetics & Ovarian Cancer Risk, with NYU’s Douglas A. Levine, MD, gynecologic oncologist, Ophira Ginsburg, MD, medical oncologist, and Jessica Martineau, MS, CGC, Genetic Counselor, and Broadway actor and singer, Jason Danieley. The panel discussion was followed by a musical performance by Jason Danieley.
THANK YOU to our panelists and to all of the Leadership Council Co-Chairs, Committee Members, sponsors, donors and everyone who attended.
Event proceeds will go towards our Rising Star Grant, to benefit a non-tenured, innovative researcher dedicated to early detection ovarian cancer research. CLICK HERE to learn about our funded research.
The 2019 Tina’s Wish Leadership Council Spring Reception honored the memory of Marin Mazzie, Jason Danieley’s wife, who passed away from ovarian cancer in September 2018. Marin was a critically acclaimed performer, three-time Tony Award nominee and beloved wife. To learn more about Marin, CLICK HERE.
