COCKTAILS FOR A CAUSE 2018
On April 12, Tina’s Wish partnered with IWIRC (International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation), a national women’s professional organization, for an evening of Cocktails for a Cause. The IWIRC NJ, CT, MD, DE and Chicago networks joined a WebEx led by Douglas Levine, MD, Director of Gynecologic Oncology at NYU Langone Perlmutter Cancer Center, Chair of the Tina’s Wish Scientific Advisory Board and Tina’s Wish funded researcher. Dr. Levine went over the basics of ovarian cancer (a seldom discussed disease) and pointed out the signs, symptoms and risk factors for the disease.
