Project Title: “Deciphering the mechanisms and relevance of replication stress in ovarian cancer precursor cells”
Dr. Hill is a gynecologic pathologist and an independent investigator at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
Rising Star Grant, Maria Sol Recouvreux , PhD
Project Title: “The Role of Ciliated Cells in Preventing Fallopian Tube Cancer Initiation”
Dr. Recouvreux is a postdoctoral fellow at the David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles.
Rising Star Grant, Kevin Elias, MD
Project Title: “A murine model for early ovarian cancer detection using circulating microRNA”
Dr. Elias is an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Biology at Harvard Medical School and a Gynecologic Oncologist and Director of the Gynecologic Oncology Laboratory at Brigham And Women’s Hospital.
Abhijit Patel, MD, PhD & Alessandro Santin, MD
Project Title: “Integrated Analysis of Proteomic and Genomic Signatures in Blood for Early Detection of Ovarian Cancer”
Dr. Patel is an Associate Professor of Therapeutic Radiology at Yale Cancer Center. Dr. Santin is a Professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences, the Disease Aligned Research Team Leader, Gynecologic Oncology Program, and Co-Chief, Section of Gynecologic Oncology at Yale Cancer Center. Dr. Patel and Dr. Santin are Co-Principal Investigators on this project.
